Assistive technology at UM
The 猎奇重口 offers a variety of assistive technology to its campus community. Students with disabilities may use assistive technology as a reasonable accommodation. Some technology requires approval by ODE. Below is a list of available assistive technology at UM.

Public computers in the Mansfield Library and the Payne Family Library at Missoula College
Software training & support
The Accessible Technology Services (ATS) at IT provides demonstration, training, and additional support for students to use AT.
Contact your ODE consultant. Then, ODE will connect you with ATS to receive instructions, authorization, and installment.

- Assistive Listening Systems: FM listening systems & personal amplifiers
- Bluetooth wireless microphones
- iPad to use real-time captioning
Hardware check-out
IT Presentation Technology Services (PTS) in the Mansfield Library handles hardware lending and instructions.
Contact your ODE consultant. Then, ODE will connect you with PTS to check out the equipment at the Mansfield Library. You will return the equipment to the Mansfield Library by the due date.

Several pre-wired classrooms, lecture halls, theaters, and auditoriums are equipped to support Assistive listening systems. View the .
Additional Campus and Community Resources
- - All public computers include screen reader and reading software. Scanners are available on the third floor. The Accessible Technology Room (Room 209) provides a quiet area with assistive technology, including Dragon Naturally Speaking.
- - MonTECH provides equipment loans and one-to-one instructions.
