Employee - Summary
Report #3 (Located on the Payroll tab)
DESCRIPTION
This report provides a summary view of payroll expenses by employee to the period(s) specified for all data entry funds, orgs, prog or accounts within the applicable parameters specified. Page breaks by reporting index.
Column presentation is by Pay Year, Pay ID, Pay Num, Posn, Suffix, Account, Account Title, Index, Fund, Org, Prog, Actv, Hours and Amount, for the Fiscal Year, or as-of the period specified.
Rows are related Category A or B , sub-totals by category type types.
Summary totals of expenses are provided at each break of category for each individual employee within the reporting unit.

- Any combination of chart elements can be used for this report.
- The Index & Grant elements will only be active if a specific chart is selected.
EXAMPLE
What was the payroll expenses for the Human Resource Services Index?
Hint: Search on "Human Resource Services" in the index lookup. Find the Index code for that reporting unit to get the information that belongs to a specific campus.
