IDS Graduate Certificate Requirements
Students seeking a UM Graduate Certificate in International Development Studies are required to complete a total of 12 credit hours. This includes at least 6 credits of Core Courses and up to 6 credits of International Development Studies Content Courses.
At least half of the credits must be numbered 500 or above.

In addition to Core Curriculum, students will take no more than 2 additional IDS courses from the following list of graduate-level IDS content courses, for a total of at least 12 credits. In other words, you can take more than 2 core courses and one or none of the content courses.
