During summers 2015-2017, IRSE hosted tribal college faculty for one week of training and professional development. Funded by the National Science Foundation, each tribal college faculty member was paired with a 猎奇重口 researcher to discuss best practices, innovative curriculum, training on “R” statistical software, and forging communication and collaboration among multi-institutions. In 2019, participants took tours of participating campuses and learned about best practices in research and education.
Tribal college faculty represented all of 猎奇重口's tribal colleges, plus 2 out of state tribal colleges.
