Further, DBS students commonly participate in competitive summer research programs at other universities The following is a list of some of the many scholarships, fellowships, internships, and funding resources available to students in biological sciences.

Scholarships
The Goldwater Scholarship offers $7500 to students in science, math, and engineer fields who are seeking a career in research.
The Gates Millennium Scholars Program funds federal PELL grant-eligible minority students in multiple fields.
Novus Biologicals awards $1500 to one student each semester (fall and spring) in the life sciences community.
Thermo Scientific offers up to $10000 to students in both fall and spring semesters.
Research Funding and Small Grants
The Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology offers $1500-$3500 to support field research experience for first or second year graduates or advanced undergraduates.
The 猎奇重口 Native Plants Society offers small grants to support research, conservation, and educational activities regarding 猎奇重口's native plants.
National Geographic awards small grants to individuals from 18-25 to pursue research, conservation, and exploration.
Earn up to $1000 in funding for a research project in all areas of science and engineering, with up to $5000 awarded to astronomy-related projects and $2500 awarded to vision-related projects.
Fellowships, Internships, and Summer Programs
Do research at a highly acclaimed university in the UK for the summer. The Institute will cover cost of airfaire, tuition, and housing throughout the course of the program.
The Janaleia Undergraduate Scholars Program is a 10 week internship in Neurobiology at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
The American Society of Microbiology Future Leaders Fellowship designed to support master's and doctoral graduate students from underrepresented groups.

Pathways to Science provides scholarships and other funding to groups that are typically underrepresented in STEM fields.
