Empowering Education - Navigating Innovation and Integrity in the Digital Age
We are excited to announce that the 猎奇重口 will be hosting XLi, the MUS Distance Education conference April 14-15, 2025. This is the statewide conference dedicated to online teaching and learning and is an ideal place to join faculty, instructional designers and administrators who are involved in the practice and support of distance education. We encourage faculty, staff and academic administrators to register and attend XLi 2025 to share your experiences and collaborate with peers from across the state. Students are welcome, too! There are three registration options for XLi 2025: Full Conference registration ($100), Presenter registration ($75) and Student registration ($25).
The registration system will accept credit card payment by Visa, Mastercard or Discover, but cannot accept American Express.
If you are using a ProCard, account and index information will be on the receipt that is emailed to you after your registration is complete.

UMOnline can also facilitate index-to-index funds transfers for UM and other MUS institutions. Please select “Invoice” as a payment option for payment using an index. For info on using these funds transfers or if you need another payment option, please email coco.ponce@mso.umt.edu.

One of Missoula’s newest lodging choices, the is a modern design hotel centrally located in downtown Missoula, with restaurants, pubs, and boutique shopping all just steps away. Valet parking is available and it is within walking distance to UM. Ask for the special XLi conference rate of $130*/night. This special rate is limited to a small block of rooms, and the last date to for our group rate is March 13.

Part of the top floor of the parking garage on the UM campus has been reserved for conference attendees. The parking garage is along Campus Drive and very close to our University Center venue (location of all the XLi sessions) and marked as R3 on the UM Campus parking map.
The rate to park on campus is $8/day and passes can be purchased in advance at the (click the Permits button and then the Guest Login). You can also buy a daily permit in person at the Campus Security office located on Campus Drive at the base of Mount Sentinel and across the street from Washington Grizzly Stadium. Alternately, the Passport Parking app option allows you to pay by the hour via your phone.
There will be an event sign entering the lot on the top floor of the parking garage—let the attendant know you are with XLi. These parking spots will be held for our attendees until about 10 AM both days. We encourage using this parking space to keep other campus parking available to students and staff.

In this evolving landscape, how can we harness technology to promote innovation, ensure accessibility and uphold academic integrity? We invite educators, researchers, technologists and policymakers to submit proposals that explore these themes and contribute actionable insights to the scholarship of teaching and learning.

How to Submit
Submission Deadline: January 31, 2025
Please submit your proposal using the where you will be asked to include presenter name(s), institution, email, track, presentation type and intended audience. If submitting more than one proposal, please fill out a new form for each one.
