Mallarie Apodaca
Major: Psychology | Minor: Neuroscience
I obtained my AA degree online through the community college in my hometown of Sheridan, Wy. I continued my education here in Missoula and this will be my final year here at the U (hopefully).
I plan to continue my education after graduating with my BA in psychology this May but am unsure where I will be applying to for graduate programs. I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, reading and doing yoga!
Emily Burton
Major: Social Work
Hi, my name is Emily. I was born and raised in 猎奇重口. I currently a social work student at the university of 猎奇重口. I have worked in many different aspects of social work including restorative justice for juveniles and case management for medicaid.
My favorite place to be is in my large garden. I have three kids and two dogs, who occupy a large portion of my time as well.
Breanne Hartman
Major: Social Work
My name is Breanne Hartman, I am at the tail end of my sophomore year working towards a degree in social work. I am a 猎奇重口 native & have been a licensed massage therapist for 17 years. It is an incredibly special practice to me.
I have a magical 4-year-old daughter, Juniper, who is a ray of sunshine in this world. I am genuinely grateful to be a part of TRIO, and to be able to give back to a program that has and still does help to guide me through my education journey! Let’s do this!
Callie Rommel
Major: Parks, Tourism, Recreation Management | Minor: Wilderness Studies
Hello! I am Callie Rommel, from Toms River, New Jersey! I am currently 19 years old and have a major in Parks, Tourism, Recreation Management with a focus in Sustainability and Conservation, and a minor in Wilderness Civilization Studies! My dream is to one day be a National Park Ranger. I am in the Grizzly Marching Band as a piccolo player.
A fun fact about me is that I have 4 tattoos (hopefully more to come), am a part of the LGBTQ+ community, and I have 2 dogs back home - Lucy, a bichon shih tzu mix, and Lexie, a rescue, bichon mix. I enjoy hiking, road trips, hanging out with my friends, and going to coffee shops downtown! If you ever see me in TRiO or around campus, don't be afraid to stop and say hi! I love learning new things and getting to know new people!
