Employee Parking Need-to-Knows
Parking Passes: Spring parking permits will go on sale Monday, December 2nd. Fall parking permits will be valid through Tuesday, December 31st and Spring permits will become effective on January 1st, 2025! If you purchased an annual permit, your permit will remain valid into the new year and will expire August 31st, 2025.
Construction and Lot Closures: Some say that there are two seasons in 猎奇重口, winter and construction. As part of a continuous effort to innovate and improve our campus, there are some changes taking place that will affect where you can park throughout Spring semester.
Parking Lot Closures:
- Lot H will remain closed until the new student housing facility is complete.
Parking Lots: Lots are designated for on-campus residents, reserved parking, or hourly parking/commuter parking. Please familiarize yourself with the .
Park and Ride: Park and Ride passes are still available from Dornblaser and Missoula College if you would prefer to avoid the parking stress. These passes are only $27.30 a semester and you can shuttle to campus every 20 minutes riding the UDASH bus.

Parking is allowed at Dornblaser Field, the Lewis and Clark Park & Ride lot, as well as the Missoula College commuter lot. Buses run every 5-20 min from the south parking lots to Mountain Campus and every 20 minutes from Missoula College to the Mountain Campus.

Employee and at least two others can purchase a shared carpool permit (3 people total, $18.33/person). Only one vehicle is allowed on campus at a time. Violators will be ticketed. This permit must be purchased in-person at the parking office.

Electric, hybrid engines meeting EPA "SmartWay Elite" ALL STATES standards will be offered a "Go Green" discount to encourage sustainable choices. Since parking spaces are not guaranteed for pass holders UM Parking is offering an alternative that provides certainty for commuters. If you purchase this pass option you will either be assigned a reserved space somewhere on-campus, or you will be guaranteed a spot in the designated reserved Lot H-1.
(Note: If you purchase a reserved pass and are assigned a reserved spot you are NOT granted access to park in H-1. That lot is for assigned permits ONLY.)

In addition to your current pass, you can now add a small Carbon Neutral Commuter Membership contribution when buying your parking pass. Though a relatively small piece of the pie, employee and student commuting constitutes a portion of our scope 3 emissions and impacts our Missoula Valley air quality. The Office of Sustainability is excited to offer an opportunity for those who choose to drive a vehicle to campus: Join the Carbon Neutral Commuter membership program and support 猎奇重口-based projects that reduce greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change.
