Committees
UM's Strategic Operating Rhythm comprises the University Leadership Council and committees focused on budget and assessment and accreditation. The Strategic Enrollment Planning steering committee has also been integral to the process.
University Leadership Council
The University Leadership Council (ULC) guides the development and implementation of UM's strategic priorities, reviews progress on intuitional projects. It is composed of the President's cabinet, academic officers, and members of the Office of Strategic Planning and Implementation.
University Assessment and Accreditation Committee
The University Assessment and Accreditation Committee (Assessment Committee) acts as the central body responsible for University accreditation and assessment activities. The committee provides summative assessments of the University’s mission fulfillment as well as ongoing formative assessments that ensure institutional tracking of key indicators to help refine strategies under each Priority for Action.
University Budget Committee
The University Budget Committee acts as a consultative, review, and advisory committee. This body provides data and guidance as sectors plan their budgets and draft their “strategic playbooks,” reviews submitted budgets, and provides recommendations to the executive leadership regarding budget allocations.
