During 22 years of serving as fully funded Geriatric Education Center/Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, the 猎奇重口 Geriatric Education Center trained health care professionals, students, residents and faculty, as well as patients, families, caregivers and direct care workers, in a variety of settings and formats. The result was a healthcare workforce highly trained and skilled in the care of older adults. With the loss of federal funding, MTGEC will serve as a centralized hub for gerontology and geriatrics focused on academic initiatives, research, training and service at the 猎奇重口. Ongoing programs include IPHARM health screening, interprofessional education activities, and experiential training opportunities in the community.
