Petitions

Petitions in Degree Works serve as a mechanism for adjusting a student's requirements. These involve requests for substitutions or waivers pertaining to major, concentration, or certificate requirements.

GPA Calculator

Degree Works has a built-in GPA calculator that allows students to plug in their projected grades for the semester to see the effect on their cumulative GPA.

Request Degree Works Access

Advisors, faculty, staff, and administrators may request access to Degree Works by submitting an Advising Security Request Form.

Access Degree Works

Permitted UM employees & active Graduate Students can access Degree Works through UM's secure single sign-on in CyberBear.

Issue Reporting

If any issues occur when using Degree Works, advisors can report them to the Graduate School at grad.school@umontana.edu . Prior to reporting issues, check out the list of common troubleshooting scenarios at the bottom of the audit webpage.
