Requesting an In-School Deferment for Loans

If you are a student at the 猎奇重口 and need to request an in-school deferment for your student loans, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Your Loan Servicer

Before taking further action, reach out to your loan servicer to confirm if they have already checked the National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS) for your enrollment status.  If they have not or are still requesting payment but you are registered half-time or more in a degree seeking program, then see Step 2.  If you do not know who your loan servicer is, you can view your loan information at www.studentaid.gov.

Step 2: Obtain the Deferment Form

  1. Visit .
  2. Navigate to the Loans section, then click on Repayment.
  3. Download the In-School Deferment Form.

Step 3: Complete the Form

Fill out the deferment form with your information, ensuring that all required fields are completed.

Step 4: Submit the Form

Bring the completed form to the Registrar's Office at the 猎奇重口, or upload a signed form here.

Important Information

  • Most loan servicers verify enrollment status through the NSLDS.
  • The university sends enrollment data to this system monthly, after the 15th day of each term.
