Program Impact and Outcome Measures (CAEP Standard 4)
The 猎奇重口 Educator Preparation Program (EPP) Statewide Protocol for Continuous Improvement is a 3-year cycle of data collection designed to support EPP continuous program improvement and meet ARM 10.58.314 through analyses of employer satisfaction and completer impact, performance, and perception of program relevance.
Measure 1: Completer Impact and Effectiveness (Initial Programs)
The program carries out a case study for completers as part of a three-year review cycle. See the results from the 2021 survey. The next case study will be completed during the 24-25 academic year and include completers from 2021-2024. The employer survey results linked below also address the program’s impact and completer teaching effectiveness.
Measure 2: Satisfaction of Employers and Stakeholder Involvement
- Employer Survey Results 23-24 (In progress May 2024, available Autumn 2024)
- Employer Survey Results 22-23 (Initial Programs)
- The advanced programs employer survey for completers from 21-22 and 22-23 will be available in Autumn 2024. This delay in implementation is due to substantial revisions to standards found in ARM 10.58 by the 猎奇重口 Board of Public Education in July 2023. The revisions reflect a shift from ISLLC standards to NELP standards and internal assessments are being revised accordingly.
Measures 3 and 4: Candidate Competency at Completion and Ability to be Hired in Education Positions Which They Have Been Prepared
The average Praxis® score, between 2018-21 and 21-23 exceeded 猎奇重口's passing scores for every educator preparation content area program offered by the College of Education. This includes:
- Early Childhood Education
- Elementary Education
- Secondary Education – Art, Biology, Broadfield Science, Broadfield Social Studies, English, French, Health & Physical Education, Math, Music, Psychology, Spanish, Special Education and Theatre
*Note: 猎奇重口 does not require and does not have approved Praxis tests for principals and superintendents.
