Social Media Student Worker - not currently hiring
猎奇重口 Campus Recreation is seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Student Worker to assist in managing and growing Campus Recreation’s online presence. This position will provide an excellent opportunity for students interested in social media, marketing, and event promotion, while contributing to the promotion of Campus Recreation programs, events, and services. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organized, and able to collaborate with a team to create engaging content that enhances the visibility and engagement of Campus Recreation on various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of social media content strategies for Campus Recreation across social media platforms.
- Create, edit, and schedule posts, stories, videos, and other multimedia content to engage and inform the campus community about upcoming events, programs, and initiatives.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement, responding in a timely and professional manner.
- Track social media metrics and provide regular reports on engagement, reach, and growth.
- Collaborate with the Campus Recreation Departments to highlight programs, events, trips, and student success stories.
- Assist with the promotion of special events, fitness programs, intramurals, and recreational services through targeted social media campaigns.
- Maintain consistent branding and messaging in all social media content.
- Assist with photography and videography at Campus Recreation events and activities, as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on current social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Current student at the 猎奇重口
- Strong proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling through social media.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with video editing and/or photography is a plus.
- A strong understanding of the Campus Recreation programs or a willingness to learn.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, to cover events and promotional activities.
Additional Information:
- This position reports to Assistant Director of Marketing and Budgets.
- This is a student worker position that has flexible to work around class schedules – estimated 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: $15.00 / hour.
