猎奇重口 Forensics Team

The UM forensics team sponsors individual and team competition in National Parliamentary Debate. The team is sponsored by the Department of Communication Studies and Associated Students of the 猎奇重口 (ASUM), with support from alumni and several UM offices. The team travels to regional competitions and hosts on-campus events and intermural debates. Students receive Communication Studies and Honors College credit by signing up for COMM 360 ("Forensics/Honors"). No prior experience in forensics is required and students from all majors are welcome.

Communication Studies Honors Society: Lambda Pi Eta
Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) is the Communication Studies Honors Society associated with the National Communication Association -- LPH fosters outstanding scholastic achievement, promotes professional development, and establishes relationships between students, faculty, and alums.
PCOM and COMM majors who have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and 3.25 GPA in communication studies classes, and graduate students who have a minimum 3.5 GPA, are invited to join and apply to become members. Associate membership is open to COMM majors who meet the above criteria and have completed fewer than 60 credits; full membership is open to COMM majors who meet the above criteria and have completed 60 or more credits.
