Mission Statement
The Magnetic Resonance Core Facility (MRCF) is operated through the Center for Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics (CBSD) and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The MRCF is funded by the NIH CoBRE grant to the CBSD, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the 猎奇重口 (UM) Research Office and user fees. The goal of the core is to provide support, expertise and infrastructure to UM laboratories that use Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) as tools for the identification of small molecules, structural elucidation of natural products and for studies on the structure and dynamics of biomolecules. The MRCF provides user training and education for all on-site users and aids in choosing and applying NMR and EPR techniques for individual researcher needs.
The CBSD administers both CBSD and VPRCS vouchers for the NMR Core. Please refer to the CBSD Voucher Funding Policy and, if eligible, submit an using the DocuSign platform.
