I lived in Missoula from 1998-2005. I graduated from UM in 2002 with a Business Management degree. During my senior year, I was very fortunate to take the first UM Entertainment Management course (which was a weekend class). During my final semester I did a venue management internship with Tom Webster at the University Theatre (now the Dennison Theatre) and Adams Event Center. That was really the first time I realized that I found something I wanted to do. I have always loved music but had no musical talent. Thanks to UMEM program, I have spent the last 16+ years working in various sectors of the entertainment industry including talent buying, concert promoting, venue management, marketing, ticketing/box office management, technical production and a plethora of other duties.
I am currently living in Portland, Oregon and have been working for TicketsWest the past 6 1/2 years. I started off managing their call center and overseeing help desk operations for over 150 ticketing outlets in Oregon and Colorado. Since 2015, I've been a project manager working directly with our clients building, managing and maintaining their ticketing systems. Our clients include colleges & universities, performing arts centers, arenas, clubs, and fairs.
