Personal Summary
Hello! My name is Kara Snider, and I am a third-year student in the School Psychology PhD program. I am honored to be part of Dr. Jacqueline Brown’s GRAY lab because I am passionate about crisis prevention and intervention in schools. My research interest is gun violence prevention in schools through trauma-informed practices that include student solutions and student choice. I have my Master of Arts in Teaching from Southern Oregon University and my Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University. I hope to one day teach at a university and build upon existing research regarding school safety, or serve individuals at a behavioral health clinic. I am excited to contribute to the GRAY lab, and for the opportunity to grow at the 猎奇重口. When I am not at school, my husband, son, and I like to play football, ride bikes, play Yahtzee, and spend time at the river.
