What is - Communities of Practice? [About Paragraph/Why It Matters to us]
The National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) program, sponsored by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is an initiative to promote higher education and research in cyber defense while fostering collaboration across institutions. Communities of Practice (CoPs) within the CAE-CD framework are specialized networks of educators, researchers, and professionals who work together to share knowledge, develop innovative practices, and address emerging challenges in cybersecurity. These communities serve as a platform for collaboration, enhancing the skills of participants while advancing the field of cyber defense to meet evolving security needs.
