Personal Summary
Ming Harris-Weidner grew up in Missoula and spent a lot of her time at the 猎奇重口 where both her parents worked as professors. Ming majored in biochemistry at Middlebury College where she researched Borrelia burgdorferi, one of the causative agents of Lyme Disease. Although her undergraduate experience was primarily science focused, she has had a longstanding interest in language learning. After graduating from college, Ming studied Mandarin at National Sun Yat Sen University in Taiwan on scholarship which sparked a newfound interest in international education. Ming worked for American Councils for International Education as a Resident Director in New Taipei the summer before coming to the Mansfield Center. In her free time Ming likes to cook, bike, run, and travel internationally in search of the best foods.
