Personal Summary
Lily Scott is a cultural historian of Russia and the Soviet Union. Her first book (in progress) is a cultural history of collectivization, with a focus on how peasant and proletarian authors write about environmental transformation. Her research focuses on the early Soviet and Stalinist periods. Additional research interests include post-Socialism, Russian literature, environmental history, visual culture, Balkan studies, art history, and film.
