Spend Your Spring Break Making a Difference: Restore Coastal Habitats at Point Reyes National Seashore!

Looking for an unforgettable spring break adventure that combines meaningful work with incredible coastal scenery? Join us for a week of hands-on environmental restoration at Point Reyes National Seashore, one of the most ecologically significant coastal habitats in the United States.

From March 15th to 23rd, 2025, you'll team up with the U.S. National Park Service to help protect and restore one of the last remaining native dune habitats in the country. Point Reyes provides critical refuge for rare species like the threatened Western Snowy Plover and the endangered Myrtle's Silverspot Butterfly. But these species face a serious threat: the spread of invasive, non-native plants that alter the delicate dune ecosystem.

Be Part of the Solution

Your work will have a direct impact on restoring this unique coastal environment. You’ll help remove invasive plants that threaten native dune grasses, disrupt sand movement, and undermine the delicate habitat balance needed for native species to thrive. It's a rare chance to roll up your sleeves and make a tangible difference for the future of this incredible landscape.

Unforgettable Experiences Beyond the Work

Your service week won't just be about hard work; it's also a chance to connect with the wild beauty of Point Reyes. Imagine watching Gray Whales migrate past the historic Point Reyes Lighthouse, spotting Tule Elk at Tomales Point, or observing Elephant Seal pups playing on Drakes Bay. The adventure doesn't end there—on our community immersion day, explore old-growth Redwoods at Muir Woods National Monument or take in the sights of iconic San Francisco.
