Personal Summary
Paul is white/settler descended and grew up on occupied Ohole homelands in San Jose, CA. His areas of study are in the interdisciplinary fields of environmental humanities and Native American and Indigenous studies. His work engages environmental philosophy, environmental sociology, environmental justice, and environmental policy with a focus on capitalism, settler colonialism, and the legacy of chattel slavery as social structures of environmental violence and dispossession.
