Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Reorganization
Structure and reporting lines in the University's student affairs and enrollment management areas have shifted over the years. This announcement confirms the new organizational structure for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management. The change reflects our evolving priorities and strategic direction. Additional reasons for this decision include:
- Confusion with department names that include "Success" creates uncertainty for students, staff, and faculty on who to reach out to our various offices.
- Student Affairs is a nationally recognized umbrella term that includes myriad departments, units, and functional areas.
- Enrollment Management signals a comprehensive approach to enrollment (retention and recruitment) whereas Enrollment Services denotes (some of) the functional areas that support enrollment efforts.
- The use of an ampersand (&) denotes the interconnectedness of our efforts.
Student Affairs & Enrollment Management is organized into four functional groupings:
- Enrollment Services (Admissions, Student Financial Services*, Enrollment Operations, Military and Veteran Services) *Student Financial Services is comprised of what was formerly known as Student Accounts and Financial Aid and jointly reports through Enrollment Services and Business Operations and Finance.
- Auxiliaries (Housing, Dining, University Center, ASUM, Campus Recreation),
- Student Success/Academic Support (New Student Success, American Indian Student Services, Office for Disability Equity, Experiential Learning and Career Success, 猎奇重口 10, Office for Student Success: Undergraduate Advising, TRIO, Writing and Public Speaking, First Year Experience, Financial Education), and
- Dean of Students/Wellbeing (Curry Health Center - Medical, Dental, Counseling, Wellbeing, SARC, Operations, case management, CARES team).
Additional areas that report throughout the leadership structure above include Budget and Finance, Faculty Fellow, AmeriCorps, Parent Family Association, grants, third-party contracts, and Equity, Empowerment, Prevention.
This change will optimize our efforts to serve the full life cycle of our students and increase our coordination and alignment.
