allows access a huge variety of content, including ebooks, magazines, audiobooks, and even online courses! Items can be downloaded to portable devices like phones, tablets, and e-readers or a computer for two week periods. Users can use their UM library card number (790 number) to borrow up to 5 titles at once, place holds, and access content.

Current full-color image editions of the , , the , the , and the (Butte) are available on NewsBank. Print editions are available in person near the Popular Reading section in the library, as well!

The New York Times
The Mansfield Library has a New York Times site license for all UM employees and students as of September 2024. The subscription includes the premium services Cooking, Games, Wirecutter, and Athletic. To activate the subscription, head to and follow the instructions in our (click “more”).
AP Stylebook Online
A fully searchable online version of the is available through the library. While not the most exciting, it is still a useful resource!
Foundation Directory Online
is a directory of 108,000 foundations, corporate giving programs, and grant-making public charities in the US, and includes information of millions of recently awarded grants. May be particularly useful for employees who are in search of grant funding!

Physical Collections
We have over 1.5 million items in our physical collections, including books, games, CDs and DVDs, and more. Our Popular Reading section on Level 3 (the main floor) is an excellent spot to take a break and flip through a new bestseller or magazine.
