A World on the Move

What drives population dislocations? What challenges face relocated peoples and their hosts? How can I prepare for tomorrow’s world on the move? Migration is one of the defining and daunting issues of the 21st century, greatly affecting places of origin, transit and destination. UM is home to world-class faculty that address critical issues affecting migration - including poverty, inequality and discrimination; political decisions; relocation and integration; and historical and contemporary dislocations in the wake of colonization, armed conflict, persecution and climate change.
